Schulz Compressores values environmental awareness and sustainable practices. We guide our customers on the correct disposal of waste from our products with the purpose of reducing environmental impact.
Discharging untreated liquid effluent or condensate into rivers, lakes, and other water bodies harms aquatic life and water quality. Therefore, Schulz recommends treating effluents in accordance with current legal requirements.
Proper disposal instructions:
Store condensate removed from the tank daily (per “Preventive Maintenance” instructions in the product manual) in suitable containers or collector systems for later treatment. Schulz offers water and oil separators to facilitate proper waste treatment.
The disposal of lubricating oil resulting from product oil changes must meet the requirements of current legislation.
Some Schulz products, such as air dryers and rotary screw compressors with integrated dryers, contain refrigerant gas. Perform maintenance as specified in the instruction manual to prevent leaks.
Batteries contain harmful chemicals and should not be disposed of with regular waste.
Proper disposal instructions:
When batteries reach the end of their life cycle, dispose of them as follows:
– Fully discharge the battery,
– Deliver it to a collection point dedicated to receiving this type of waste for proper disposal.
Solid waste generation is an aspect that must be considered by people when using and maintaining their equipment. After all, the impacts caused to the environment can cause significant changes in the quality of the soil, surface water and subsoil, as well as human health.
Proper disposal instructions:
Schulz recommends processing product waste from its generation, handling, movement and treatment to its final disposal. Dispose of solid waste in accordance with the regulatory requirements of current legislation.
